Dr. V (she/her) completed her B.S. in Zoology with a minor in Anthropology from Humboldt State University and her Ph.D in Interdisciplinary Ecology from University of Florida. She uses her ecological background to help students navigate the university ecosystem. Dr. V has lived and traveled abroad in over 30 countries. In her spare time you can find her enjoying the outdoors (hiking, rafting, and relaxing) with her family.

With an M.S. in Student Affairs and Conflict Analysis & Resolution from Nova Southeastern University, and a B.S. in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication from UW-Stevens Point, Molly brings over 12 years of dedicated service in higher education. Her expertise spans Student Life, Conduct, Fraternity/Sorority Life, Leadership Development, Disability Services, Veterans Services, and Volunteer Coordination. As a trained community mediator, She is deeply passionate about helping groups navigate conflict and facilitate effective and productive meetings. Molly combines academic rigor with practical experience to foster inclusive and supportive campus environments that empower students to thrive personally and academically.
Sofi Hart

Sofi (she/her) earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Oregon and is currently working towards a graduate degree in Organizational Leadership.
Sofi is dedicated to cultivating meaningful relationships with students, emphasizing mutual respect, compassion, and understanding. She feels honored to support numerous students on their educational and life paths within Higher Education.
When she is not connecting with students on the SOU campus, Sofi enjoys spending time in nature through adventures like rock climbing, hiking, and road trips with her partner, dog, and two cats.
Mehmood Madha

Mehmood (he/him) is a licensed social worker with a background in repairing large-scale social problems that affect communities. Mehmood holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles in History and Education Studies and a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University School of Social Work. Mehmood wants to use the Clinical Care Coordinator position to support the academic and personal growth of SOU students and learn from the interdisciplinary staff at SOU.
When not assisting the SOU student body, Mehmood enjoys working out and rooting on the Lakers and Dodgers.

Jason Piazza

Jason completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business with a minor in information technology from the University of Phoenix, while representing SOU as an alumnus through the MBA program with a focus on statistical analysis and decision-making.
Outside his professional career, Jason enjoys time with the family and a love for disc golf and video games. With his life experiences Jason’s desire is to help students work through economic concerns while completing their academic goals here at Southern Oregon University.

John Pogue III

John (he/him) has years of case management experience serving residents of Jackson County, Oregon and has strived to impart compassion, respect, and willingness to work with people where they are at in life. John hopes to extend these values to the students at Southern Oregon University.
John holds a Bachelor of Science from Southern Oregon University in Sociology. John has utilized his degree to better understand social problems and how social identity may influence different lived experiences.
Outside of work John enjoys reading, cooking, and visiting the Oregon coast.
