A message from the Dean of Students.
Welcome to SOU!
The Dean of Students office is here to support you. If you experience any problems, concerns, or challenges during your time at SOU, the Dean’s office is a good place to start if you can’t figure out what to do, where to go, or who to ask.
It is our goal to make your college experience a very fulfilling and successful one. I want you to feel very comfortable dropping in (SU 321) or calling our office (541.552.6221) and asking questions. We will support you in your educational and personal goals by connecting you to resources and helping you resolve issues and complaints. To this end, we offer a variety of programs and services: Care Coordination, Social Justice and Equity Center, Student Life, Career Connections, and YOU@SOU. If you or know someone who is struggling, please submit a Cares Note to be connected with a Care Coordinator.
Throughout your student’s time at SOU, the Dean of Students office strives to offer support and provide you with resources to stay connected. To stay informed, be sure to sign up for the Family Portal.
Browse through our website to see the many other services offered through the Dean of Students office. Please let us know if you need our help.
